Ah, yes, the brain and its functions.

Mine, however, has its grandiose dysfunctions.

Speech: When I get confused, anxious, or too tired, I misspeak words or I stutter.

Memory: I remember years ago, haunting memories, then sometimes I forget yesterday, an hour ago, a second ago.
Thoughts: I am both logical and creative, so I use both sides of my brain. Sometimes the pain makes my creativity increase. The pain sits on the right hemisphere on the corpus callsosum, which connects the two lobes. Thus, my mind runs wild with stories that I wish I could write. I used to use that pain to my advantage.

The temporal lobe manages what a person sees, both understanding and remembering it. It deals with emotions, speech, and language.
Deep within the hippocampus dreams lie. Dreams or nightmares. Objects, images, memories dance during REM sleep. Some dance and do wake dreaming or awake nightmares. Those affect mental or emotional health. My dysfunction gives me nightmares. Past memories or fears dive into a dream so incredible it can wake the restless body.

Movements over the years I never noticed unexplained movement or twitches. Well, I had facial and left eye twitches off and on. I deal and tolerate it. I have to tolerate my own body, though it does frustrate me.

Headaches or migraines, just one migraine never ending. Severity where it hits different areas of the brain. Scalp sensitivity. Face sensitivity. Headache or migraine? Stabbing, throbbing, pressure, pulsing, covering the head, and the skull. The brain feels like a balloon expanding in my head. Ice pick front to back. Back to front.

Tremors.
Slight. Increasing right hand at rest or at work. torso at rest. Left hand at rest and at work. Face still twitches.
I am right-handed. Words to write get shaky. Words to type get several letters instead of one or unwanted spaces.
Handwriting. Hand aches. Storytelling through dictating.
Slowly leg jerks, twitching restless at rest.

Ocular migraine. Left eye vision, low in and out. Large dark floaters look like spiders, worms, or shadows crossing over my sightline.

In balance. Vertigo. Left eye, low vision, off balance, dizziness.
Fall!
Crash!

Legs jerk, twitch at standing. Shaky when walking.

Fall!
Crash!
Dysfunction!

Fall on right side more than once. Lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow). Inflammation of all the tendons in the arm. Elbow pain. Just when I am feeling better...

Fall!
Reinjured. Pain. Extra body pain causes increased migraine pain.
Left knee: three reconstructions, arthritis, nerve damage around left knee due to nerve blocker during surgery.
Achy. Shaky. Unsteady.
My dysfunction will continue, progress. It may mimic other disorders or cause other disorders.
Not just one cause or one disorder. Just multiple impacts that remain as scars and brain dysfunctions.
This is me. And I feel alone.
